[IC post-trauma post]
[....from Umeda's office, where the door is closed for once, comes the sound of Blade Runner.]
((OOC: Everyone and their mother, including Akiha and Io, have dropped in this last little while; Umeda's indulging in his comfort movie. *g* Anyone can feel free to jump this post to catch the movie with him or harass him after it to cheer him up; this post isn't for anyone specific -- I just didn't think I could manage a main-comm post that might hit a few thousand again, but anyone's still free to come and bug Umeda. Got an appointment? Meant to return something to him? Heard about the drops? Come by and say hi.))

*walks in maybe looking the slightest bit embarrassed by that BUT HE'S COOL RLY and shuts the door behind him*
What're you up to?

*takes out a sheet of paper, which you might just notice is the SOS Brigade scavenger hunt sheet*
Say, do you count as a healer?
no subject
Maybe technically. I mean, I'm a doctor, so that should count, but I don't have any of that healing magic or whatever.
no subject
Eh, I don't really trust magic users all that much, myself. So... *reading the sheet* ...what special skills do you have?
no subject
Uh, I've got a certificate in chiropracty and massage therapy.
no subject
Chiropracty? That sounds sinister.
no subject
I crack bones for fun and profit! Is what it sounds like.
no subject
You see, pub bouncers do that, too. I never would've pinned you as the type.
no subject
It's more a good cracking. It's about keeping joints properly in balance and things like that.
no subject
Huh, gotcha. I wonder if any of the Igors know about that...
no subject
From what little you've said, the thought terrifies.
no subject
Hah! They probably know all about that stuff! I think it's one of those "you have to know the rules before you can break them" situations. Because if you couldn't get, say, five fingers to work correctly, there's no way you'd be able to give yourself six.
...heh, Igor would love this place.
no subject
I guess you're right. I mean, my head hurts trying to wrap around it, but you gotta know how a body works before you can make it work.
no subject
Yeah. And yeah... this place would be better off with an Igor or two. Particularly now, I'm thinking. Thinking that it's going to be another eventful October, Doc?
no subject
Ugh, I'm trying not to think about it. S'my birthday on that day, y'know.
